McFly spread the Comic Relief news
McFly are back from Africa where they have been finding out for themselves how funds raised have been put to use. They visited the township of Kamwokya in Uganda where Comic Relief has been helping educate children and to run clinics. Since the band last visited Uganda two years ago they have seen great improvements. Money raised from McFly's double A side single 'All About You/You've Got A Friend' helped build a three storey school and put more doctors in local clinics which serve 9000 people. Danny said: 'It's really rewarding because we saw what the money from the single did….It changes the way you think about life.' The boys have been touring the UK since their return visiting British projects funded by Comic Relief.
